Biodiversity Islands is a project developed to focus on the importance of saving intact sections of land where plants and animals can thrive without major degenerative interference from human activity.
These landscapes hold promise for protecting a multitude of plant and animal species for present and future generations.
Biodiversity Islands was created through the Program in Tropical Forestry and Agroforestry at Yale’s School of Forestry and Environmental Studies.
Spearheaded by Dr. Florencia Montagnini
